Poshmark Buyer Protection
Poshmark was created with the buyer in mind. Funds from your purchases are not released to the seller until confirmation on the buyer’s end that the shipment has been delivered. Poshmark also adds tracking numbers to each order so that you are able to track your purchases the moment that the USPS scans in the shipping label.
On top of the shipping protection, you have up to 72 hours upon receipt of your package to inspect items and make sure that you received the item from the listing in the exact condition and way it was represented on the platform. If anything is wrong with the item that was not listed, the item does not match the description, or you received a different item than the listing, you may start a claim with Poshmark directly through the app for a refund or to simply return the item you received.

Poshmark Percentages Earned
When selling on Poshmark, for anything sold over $15 Poshmark keeps 20% of each sale and the seller keeps 80%. For anything sold under $15 on the platform, Poshmark keeps $2.95 of the sale. The sale amount is deposited into the seller’s balance on Poshmark after the item is marked as “delivered” by the buyer or automatically at the 72 hour mark after delivery. This amount can then be used to shop on the Poshmark platform, deposited into a bank account, or a check can be requested by the seller.
Poshmark Shipping Rates
The shipping rate is $7.25 for shipping within the United States and is covered by the buyer for up to a 5 lbs. package. Anything over this weight will need to have another label created at a higher amount covered by the seller.
