We tested the Shark VacMop Pro for six months, here are our thoughts.

What we love about the Shark VacMop Pro:
Before the Shark VacMop Pro, we were used to getting out the vacuum to pick up the pesky pet hair and fuzz from the baseboards and sweeping the floor before finally getting around to mopping. The Shark VacMop Pro allows you to utilize one product for all of these steps, and in a much smaller package. Weighing in under 5 pounds this makes our cleaning routine a bit easier.
We also appreciate the long battery life. During testing, we found that you can typically clean a medium sized kitchen (or break-room) around 10-15 times before needing to recharge. If charging is needed, this is a fast process for the Shark VacMop Pro, as the VacMop is cordless and has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Simply connect the magnetic charger for a few minutes, and you will have enough charge to get through your cleaning for the day.
The spray and vacuum functions on the Shark VacMop Pro are also separate on the unit. Allowing you to vacuum when necessary, and spray when needed, while saving the battery life of the VacMop.
The refillable tank on the VacMop Pro is also impressive. Unlike other similar products on the market that require a specific size container to be purchased separately and then inserted into the mop, the tank is built in. If you prefer to make your own cleaning solutions and add these to the Shark VacMop to clean, this is available to you.
The pads are also disposable, and can be bought in packages of 10, 12, and 16. On average these are around $0.67-$0.87 depending on your location and chosen retailer.
Our only concern for the future:
We hope that Shark will add a larger slit across the front of the VacMop Pro for the vacuum function. Lining up the middle of the VacMop with any hair or grime on the floor can sometimes prove to be a challenge. We did however perfect the “slide method” of placing the front of the VacMop parallel to any baseboards and sliding all the way down the wall. Though we were overall impressed by the capacity of how much hair and fuzz the VacMop Pro disposable pads can hold!
Our verdict:
This is a no brainer! We are satisfied with the Shark VacMop Pro and would recommend this if you are someone who enjoys a quick pick up and a spotless home (or office!). This makes a quick clean so much simpler, saving an abundance of time and energy.
